Cooper test

The cooper test is a test of phsical fitness. The cooper test is a continous run for 12 minutes over a distance of 400 metres. The point of the test is to run as far as possible within the 12 minutes. The test measures the condition of the person taking it and therefore is supposed to be run at a steady pace instead of sprints and fast running. The outcome is based on the distance the person ran in the 12 mins. Our class performed the test at the back of the college at the riverside. We set it up over a distance of 230 metres with a cone every 12 metres. Some of the class recorded the distance of the participant and calculated the distance they had ran at the end of the test. We conducted the test to see how fit we were and to see how high our aerobic fitness was.
